Meet the owner: Dave

The oldest of 3 kids, Dave always enjoyed tinkering with mechanical things and started his automotive career changing oil and tires with Tires Plus back in 1997. Dave worked his way through the ranks and eventually became store manager before deciding to make a change in 2005 when he joined the Denny Hecker team. Dave worked for the Hecker dealership until 2008 when he had an opportunity to join an ownership team and manage his own shop. Dave jumped at the opportunity and took the responsibility of becoming the General Manager/Owner. In July of 2012, the opportunity to purchase Discount Brake and Auto Repair presented itself. Since Dave lives in the community he thought this would be a nice opportunity to own a shop, give back and become more involved in his community, and be closer to his family.

Dave is an ASE Certified technician which allows him to be a very knowledgeable service advisor and liaison for our customers and our technicians. Dave is able to quickly diagnose and discuss any potential issues with your vehicles.

Dave and his wife have recently welcomed a new addition to their family. In March of 2012 they had their first child, a baby boy. He has plenty of "protection" at home with a doberman named Bella and a rottweiler/chow mix named Calley. Other than family and the dogs Dave enjoys spending time outdoors around the campfire, summer days on the boat, and hanging out up north.
